If you're having problems logging into Sage HR, this will be because of one of the following reasons:
You haven't activated your access via your welcome email
Using the wrong email address
Your access has been disabled by an admin
An admin has terminated your profile
Your company no longer uses Sage HR
Using the wrong password
Using the wrong domain
To establish why you can't log in, and what to do to resolve it, run through each check below.

1. Have you logged in before?
Have you successfully logged into Sage HR.
Yes I have
In that case, please move on to the next check.
No I haven't
Okay, before you log in to Sage HR for the first time, you must have set up your access from your welcome email.
If you've not received a welcome email yet please contact your employer to check if they've sent you one, and that they've used the correct email address for you. They can resend the welcome email to you if required.
If you've already set up your access, but can't log in, move on to the next check.
2. Checks to make with your employer
There are some checks you need to make which require confirmation from your employer. Please contact them directly and check all of the following with them:
Does your employer still use Sage HR or Sage HR Online Services?
Is the email address you are entering match the email address your employer has set you up with?
2a. Does your company still have a Sage HR subscription?
Your employer may have stopped using Sage HR, which is why you can't access your account. Check with your employer that they still use Sage HR.
If your company no longer subscribes to Sage HR, you won't be able to log in until they re-subscribe. Please contact your employer to let them know why you are trying to log in and what information you are looking for. For example, if you need your payslips or a specific document, they will need to provide them to you in another way.
If they do still use Sage HR and you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
2b. Check if your profile has been terminated
A reason why you can't log in could be because your profile has been terminated.
Contact your employer to check whether they've terminated your profile. An admin may have done this by mistake.

I haven't been terminated
If you've confirmed that you haven't been terminated, move on to the next check.
I have been terminated
If you've been terminated, once your employer has resolved this for you, try to log in again.
If they do still use Sage HR and you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
2c. Check if your access has been disabled
Check with your employer to see if they've disabled your self-serve access.
My access hasn't been disabled
If you've confirmed your access hasn't been disabled, move on to the next check.
My access has been disabled
If your access has been disabled, once they have confirmed they've enabled it, try to log in again.
If you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
2d. Check your email address
Please confirm with your employer that the email address you've entered matches the email address your employer set you up with.
Once you've confirmed what email address you need to use, log in using that exact email address.
If you've confirmed what email address you need to use, but you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
📎NOTE: If your employer has set you up with the wrong email address, or you have a new email address you want to use instead, inform your employer so they can change this for you.
3. Reset your password
Once you've completed all the checks above with your employer, especially confirming the correct email address to use, if you still can't log in you should check whether you are entering the correct password. If you can't think of anything else it could be, reset your password.

After resetting your password, try to log in with the new password.
If you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
4. Log in an alternative way
Try to log in to Sage HR Online Services in a different way.
Try to sign in via sage.hr/signin
Try to sign in via the link provided in your welcome email
If you're trying to log in to the Sage HR app, try logging in on the website version instead
If you still can't log in, move on to the next check.
5. Check you have entered the right domain
If the domain in your login page's URL is wrong, or you have entered the wrong domain when asked for it when logging into the Sage HR app, this can be why you're unable to log in.

Alternatively, contact your employer to confirm what your company's domain is.
Once you've confirmed your domain, try to log in with that correct domain when asked for your workspace URL.

If you have made these checks, and still can't log in, please contact your employer. They can look into this for you and only they have access to contact Sage technical support if required.
