When you log in to your Sage HR company, there is one of two login types you are using:
Sage account login - You use this if your Sage HR company is integrated with Sage payroll software to view and manage payslips or if your company has Sage accounts enabled
Sage HR login - This is a legacy login type only used for Sage HR companies that aren't integrated with Sage payroll software and haven't yet had Sage accounts enabled within the company settings
📎NOTE: If you access multiple companies you might use a Sage account login for one company, and Sage HR login for another.
How can I tell if I'm using a Sage account or Sage HR login?
The type of login you use determines:
How you log in
How you reset your password
Whether you can use 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) to log in

If you see this option, where you're only prompted to enter an email address this means you use a Sage account login. After you enter your email address click CONTINUE TO SIGN IN. This brings you to a Sage account login screen which is where you enter your password to log in, or where you can reset your password if you've forgotten it.

If the sign-in page remains like the screenshot below after you enter your email address, you use a Sage HR login.
📎NOTE: Be aware that one other possible reason you remain on this page is that you don't yet have any login set up for Sage HR. This is done from the welcome email sent by your employer inviting you to their Sage HR company.
