Some tips for you to use at this time of year, such as how to deal with your holiday year-end coming up, as well as how to use Sage HR to help manage your company's Christmas celebrations.
Check your employees' unused days
As the end of 2023 is approaching, at this time of year many companies need to check how much annual leave their employees have left to use.
Use our online guidance if you need a reminder on how to check your employees' remaining available days off.
📌TIP: Create an announcement to remind your employees to book their remaining annual leave for this year.
Prepare for holiday year-end
Earlier we explained how you can check your employee's unused time off for this year. This is part of preparing for your holiday year-end. We have a handy guide that gives an overview of what to do in Sage HR before your holiday calendar year ends.
Restrictions on time off requests
What a user can do when they request time off is controlled by the time off policy's settings. You can apply settings to add restrictions to a time off request.
Examples:
Make adding details mandatory
Apply a maximum number of days for a request
A minimum notice period for a request
