If you use the Performance module, you can create 360 feedback. This is a feedback form you can send to employees for them to complete.

📌TIP: We recommend setting up the 360 Feedback feature within your Performance settings before you create a 360 feedback form.

Create a new feedback form

  1. Click 360 Feedback.

  2. Click Create 360 feedback form.

📌TIP: If you want to create a new feedback form that is similar to an existing form, you can duplicate it instead of creating one from scratch.

Configure settings for your feedback form

Here you can create your feedback form. You can amend its general settings such as:

  • Configure your star ratings

    • How many?

    • Which star ratings require mandatory comments?

    • Do you want the stars to be numbers or a different label? For example, Excellent instead of 5.

  • Receive employee feedback anonymously

  • Require approval from direct manager for feedback nomination

  • Allow a skip question option

  • Enable multiple-language support

  • Customise the email invitation message

📌TIP: We recommend you Save changes regularly, so you don't lose any changes made. You must add at least one competency, and have no blank titles before you can save it.

Add competencies for feedback

  1. Once your feedback form settings are complete, add at least one competency that you want to evaluate on this form.

    Click Add competency.

📌TIP: You can edit the competencies that appear from within your 360 Feedback settings.

  2. Select the competency, then click Add competency again

The competency is listed with an Indicator for you to configure.

  3. Customise the indicator.

    You can:

    • Give it a title

    • Enter a description

    • Choose whether you want it to be a star rating, comment only, or Multiple choice question.

📌TIP: You can also add a 'logic jump' to another Indicator question or Competency question. An option only appears if you've added another indicator with a title entered.

In the example below, if a user answers a star rating of 1, the feedback form jumps to the second question in the same competency.

  4. If required, add other indicator and competencies.

You can amend the order they appear in.

We recommend you save your changes at this point.

Next Steps

Once you're finished creating and customising your feedback, you can do the following:

Leave as a draft

You can save your changes and return to edit the survey at any point. To return to your other feedback forms click Go Back. You're reminded to save your progress.

The next time you click 360 Feedback on the main menu, you can see this feedback form in the Draft tab where you can finish editing it at any time.

Preview feedback

Once you have at least one category with a question set up, you can preview the 360 feedback to see how it looks to someone completing it.

At the top, a message tells you this is just a preview and that no data is recorded.

To exit the preview either finish the feedback or click on the cross on the top right.

Send out

If you're fine with the feedback and ready to send it, click Send out.

You then must select who the feedback is for, and who will complete the feedback.

📌TIP: Direct managers can only see 360 Feedback templates they've created themselves, or been given sending rights to.
