In this month's newsletter we provide hints and tips on ways to use Sage HR that may make the way you do things more efficient. We take a look at:
Hide email addresses from employees
A new feature in Sage HR makes it possible to hide email addresses from view to employees. Once enabled employees who are not direct managers or team managers will not able to see their colleagues emails in Sage HR. Managers will be able to see emails of their direct reports and team members only.
To enable it:
Click your name on the top right, then click Settings.
On the settings menu click PERMISSIONS, then click Employees.
Select Don't allow employees to see email addresses.
Scroll down and click SAVE.
Communicate news to everyone in your company
Announcements in Sage HR is an ideal channel to communicate news or important information to everyone in your company. Once set up you and your colleagues can compose update posts which can be interacted with using emoji reactions and comments.
See below all our easy to follow guides on using Announcements:
Training
Having your employees be the best that they can be is important. So if there is training available that can improve employees' skills and knowledge, you should always encourage them to do it, or even in some cases require them to do it.
In Sage HR you can set up your Training settings ready for when training needs to be assigned to employees. Once done admins or managers can add training for employees or even be added by employees themselves to take.
See below the resources available for processing Training in Sage HR:
📌TIP: Why not create an announcement to let employees know about an upcoming training event?
