Manually add an employee - Sage 50 Payroll integration

You can add an employee directly in Sage HR, even if integrated with Sage 50 Payroll.

If you have Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll (UK Only), you can add an employee to Sage HR Online Services by uploading their payslips. When you do it this way their Sage HR and Sage 50 Payroll records are linked automatically.

Alternatively, if you need to add them in Sage HR Online Services first, you can add them manually. This is useful to do if you want to add them to Sage HR before Sage 50 Payroll.

📌TIP: You can then send their Sage HR record to import their record in Sage 50 Payroll rather than creating a payroll record manually.

📎NOTE: If you add an employee this way, they won't be linked to a record in payroll until they're added to Sage 50 Payroll and their payslips are uploaded for the first time.
