How to change your existing subscription and access additional modules.

If you have Sage HR, as standard you get the Core HR module, and in many cases you may also have the Leave Management module. Additional modules are available to start as a trial or subscribe to immediately.

If you wish to use additional modules, it is easy to add them.

📎NOTE: If you're Sage package customer, you must choose Leave Management to be able to subscribe to the other additional modules. If you only have Sage HR payslips, you must choose Core HR and Leave Management to be able to subscribe to the additional modules.


How to add an additional module

To add or remove an additional module, follow the steps below.

📎NOTE: You must have administrator access to Sage HR and also know the details of the card used to set up your Sage HR account.

  1. Click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the Settings menu, click Billing.

    Here you will see all available modules. Any you are currently subscribed to are already selected.

  3. You can now either start a trial for additional modules or add to your subscription immediately if you know you need or want the module.



Start a trial

If you want to see what an additional module is like before purchasing it, and have not yet trialed it already, you can start a trial for that module.

Steps for Sage HR with no payroll integration

  1. Click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the Settings menu, click Billing.

  3. Select the module(s) you would like to trial.

  4. Confirm the change by adding your card details.

Steps for Sage HR integrated with Sage payroll software

  1. Click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the Settings menu, click Billing.

  3. Select the module(s) you would like to trial.

  4. Click START TRIAL underneath each module you would like to trial. If you want to trial multiple click START TRIAL underneath each one.

What happens when the trial ends?

You have access to the module for 30 days. If you already have a Sage HR subscription, once the trial ends the module will be added to your subscription and you will be automatically billed for that module.

If you don't want the module going forward and don't want to be billed, deselect the trialed module, re-enter card details, then click SAVE CHANGES before the end of the 30 days.


Subscribe to an additional module immediately or re-subscribe

If you want to immediately purchase an additional module, or re-subscribe after previously removing the module, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the additional modules you want.

  2. Re-enter your card details under Billing details for security reasons, then click SUBSCRIBE.


Remove an additional module from your account

  1. De-select any additional module you no longer want.

    📎NOTE: The only modules you can't de-select are Core HR and Leave Management.

  2. Re-enter your card details under Billing details for security reasons, then click SAVE CHANGES.

To re-subscribe follow the steps for Subscribe to an additional module immediately or re-subscribe.


Remove all Sage HR modules - Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll

  1. Click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the Settings menu, click Billing.

  3. Click Cancel my paid subscription.

📎NOTE: If you're a package customer, you will still have the Core HR module.
