What is Timesheets?

The Timesheets module in Sage HR is there for you to record hours your employees have worked over a defined period. You can then use these records to calculate your employees' salaries or holiday allowances.

What can I use it for?

Use it to enter or adjust hours worked and to submit these as a timesheet to be approved by a manager. Employees can submit their timesheets for approval at the end of a period e.g. week or month.

You can merge approved timesheets into a collective report to help your payroll department work out the salary owed.

How do I set it up?

📎NOTE: You need to set up Leave Management before you set up Timesheets.

If you don't already have the Timesheets module, add it to your Sage HR subscription. You can even trial it first.

Once you have the module you can follow our simple step-by-step instructions on how to set up the Timesheets module.
