Once you have created an inventory of assets in Sage HR, these assets can be assigned to employees. Once assigned, you can return the assets too when an employee has given them back in real life.

Give asset to an employee

Option 1 - via Asset settings

Who can do it this way?

  1. Click on your name in the top right, then click settings.

  2. On the settings menu, click Assets, then click Inventory.

  3. Under Actions on the relevant asset, click Give.

  4. Select who you want to give the asset to.

  5. Select date asset was or is going to be given.

  6. If required, enter a comment.

  7. If required, select Notify employee by email.

  8. Click Give.

Option 2 via employee profile

  1. Go onto an employee's profile.

  2. On the profile menu, click Assets.

  3. Click Give Asset.

  4. Select which asset you want to give to the employee.

  5. Select the date they were given or are going to be given the asset

  6. If required, enter a comment.

  7. If required, select Notify employee by email.

  8. Click Give.
