Time off approvers are certain employees assigned a role in Sage HR to be able to approve time off requests made by other employees. You can specify who you want to be a time off approver for a specific employee.

  1. Click your name in the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the settings menu click Time off, then click Time off approvers.

  3. Under ‘Actions’ click on the pencil icon on the same line as the employee.

  4. Select who you want to be Time off approver.

    For them to have specific individual to approve a time off request approvers, click on the blank space underneath Individual approvers and either scroll down and select, or type their name.


  5. If you don’t want the employee to have their time off requests automatically approved, leave this option clear.

  6. Click Save.

📌TIP: You can export a list of your employees and who their time off approvers are. Click Export.
