If your company has created a parental leave policy, such as maternity leave. An employee or admin/team manager can request this leave when appropriate.
📎NOTE: You can't request parental leave on the Sage HR app.
The process is exactly the same as requesting any time off.
You must:
Select the parental leave time off policy. A specific time off policy may have been created for you to use. For example, Paternity leave.
The child the parental leave is for
📎NOTE: If there is no child to select, you must create a child record before you can request parental leave.
Once everything has been filled out, click Submit. This time off is deducted from their parental leave allowance.
