In the UK, when an employee leaves your company, you need to provide them with a P45.
There isn't currently functionality in Sage HR to provide a P45 to a leaving employee. This is because the only way you could upload a P45 to Sage HR is to upload it as a document, but employees can't access documents after termination. As a P45 would be for an employee after they leave, this means the employee wouldn't be able to access this document.
📎NOTE: If you integrate with Sage 50 Payroll, the only things employees can access after you terminate them are Payslips & P60s.
Other ways to provide a P45
If you use Sage 50 Payroll, you can use your payroll software to print the employee's P45.
Alternatively, you can use Sage 50 Payroll to email a P45 to an employee.
