There is a setting you can apply in Sage HR to allow an employee to access their payslips via the web portal after you terminate them.

📎NOTE: This setting is only available for Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll UK.

The setting also only gives access to the Sage HR web portal. Employees still won't be able to access your company on the Sage HR mobile app.

From their termination date you can grant them access to their payslips on the Sage HR website up to either:

  • 7 days

  • 30 days

  • 1 year

This means even when they leave the company, they can log into the web portal and view their payslips via their profile for this amount of time.

  1. Logged in as an admin, click on your name on the top right, then click Settings.

  2. Click Permissions, then click Employees.

  3. When you select Allow employees to access payslips after termination you can allow a leaver to have access to payslips for either:

    • 7 days

    • 30 days

    • 1 year

📎NOTE: This is from their termination date. Employees can access payslips on the Sage HR web protal if they've been terminated, but they can't access them if they've been deleted.

When the employee logs in to Sage HR Online Services they only have access to their payslips and P60s. Advise your leaving employees to download these payslips whilst they still have access.
