When an employee leaves your company, to process them as a leaver you terminate them in Sage HR. This removes the employee as an active employee in your company, and they no longer appear in your company directory.
If you need to undo this, either because the employee is no longer leaving or you terminated them by accident, we explain below what to do depending on your integration.
Sage HR - No Sage payroll integration
Sage HR - No Sage payroll integration
If you use Sage HR without any integration with Sage payroll software, you can un-terminate an employee using the Re-hire option.

Sage 50 Payroll UK integration
If you use Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll, you can't undo a termination yourself. If this has been done by accident, an admin user can contact Sage HR support and we can undo this for you.
📎NOTE: Sage HR support can only undo a termination if done in error, or if an employee no longer needs to be terminated. If the terminated employee is a returning historical leaver, you must follow our guidance in, Re-add a returning leaver.
