How do I record sick leave?

How to add time off for sick leave if an employee or yourself has been off work due to being unwell.

If your company has the Leave Management module, you can use Sage HR to record days off for sickness. You can add time off for yourself, or depending on your permissions, you can record sick leave for other employees too.

All you need to do is follow the steps for requesting time off.

There will be a time off policy you're expected to use for sick leave. If you're unsure which time off policy you need to use, check this with your HR admin.

📎NOTE: You can only use Sage HR to request time off if your company has the Leave Management module. If you're unsure whether they do use it, or whether you need to record sick leave via a different process or system please contact your employer directly to get this clarified.
