In this month's newsletter we look at how to record time off for multiple employees at once, add the Jubilee bank holiday to your calendar (UK only) and provide a reminder on how to find out what your company's Sage HR workspace URL is.

Book time off for multiple employees at the same time

You may be aware that you can book time off for other employees if you're an admin user or a team manager, but did you know you can also book time off for multiple employees at once?

This can be useful during the Christmas period or for a team charity day, when booking time off for most, if not all, of your employees.

Add the Platinum Jubilee bank holiday to your calendar

In the UK, there'll be be a one off four day bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

As a result the Spring Bank Holiday - usually held on the last Monday of May - has been moved to Thursday 2 June, followed by an extra bank holiday on Friday 3 June.

If you haven't already added this public holiday to your calendar, you can easily do this now.

Employees asking for their workspace URL?

When you log into the Sage HR app, depending on if an email address is linked to more than one company, you or an employee may be asked to enter a workspace URL.

If an employee doesn't know what this is, they may ask you what their company's workspace URL is. All they need is the bit before .sage.hr in the URL, which you can see when you're logged into your company in Sage HR.

Employees can also find it in their welcome email.
