In Sage HR, if you use projects, you can set a limit of hours for them.

EXAMPLE: Cases when you may want to set a limit of hours in a project, could be:

  • You have a project which should not exceed a specific amount of hours based on budget or contract agreements

  • The project manager needs to control how many hours get invested in a specific project or during a specific time interval

What do employees see?

Once configured, when an employee saves or submits a Project Timesheet, the time entry is validated in Sage HR against the total amount of hours logged into the project.

If the limit has been reached, a message appears informing them of this and that the user is unable to log any more hours for it.
