If you want additional custom fields to fill in when you add or edit an asset, then these can be created by following the steps below.

  1. Click on your name in the top right, then click Settings.

  2. On the settings menu, click Assets, then click Inventory.

  3. Click Add new.

  4. Name the field.

  5. Select the type of field you want it to be: Text, Dropdown or a Date.


  6. If required, enter a description

  7. If required, select if you want it visible to an employee. If not selected only their manager can see it.

  8. Click Add.
