Working patterns allow you to set up your employee's working hours for each working day. The default setup will automatically assign the Full-time working pattern to your employees. You can edit this default working pattern, but you can create new ones for employees working different shifts or part-time hours.
📎NOTE: An employee's working pattern won't reflect their non-working days on the calendar. Only non-working days on an Employment Status show on the calendar.
Add a working pattern
Click your name on the top right, then click Settings.
On the settings menu, click Employee data.
Employment statuses & Working patterns.
Scroll down to Working patterns.
Click Add working pattern.
Name the working pattern.
Select the Working pattern length. For example, 1 week, 2 weeks, etc. This is how you can create a multiweek working pattern.
You can also activate the overtime option.
To select the working days, click the sliders.
For each working day enter what time work starts and what time work ends.
If required, for each working day, enter the start and end times of the break.
Once you type in the hours, at the bottom it gives you the total number of hours in that working pattern.
Click Save.
