What can I use it for?
Key features of the Core HR module include:
Tasks - quickly update colleagues on tasks that need doing or have been completed
Dashboard - employees manage their dashboard, to view tasks, calendar, etc.
Employee profiles - view and edit profiles for every employee
Onboarding and offboarding - when employees are joining or leaving, be able to automate the process by assigning them various tasks from a predefined list
Recipes - create custom workflows that are automated after specific actions are made
Company - view your company structure and employee directory
Documents - upload, share, and view documents
Reports - various reports to get the information you need quickly, as well as additional reports based on the modules you use
Announcements - communicate with your employees and compose internal company update posts that employees can interact with via emoji reactions and comments
Compensation - keep track of employees' current and historical salaries
Training - manage what training is required for your employees
Assets - manage and keep track of your asset inventory

If you're a Sage 50 People Package customer, you have the Core HR module included as part of your package which you can set up straight away. You can then subscribe to Leave Management and other Sage HR modules if or when you want to use them. If you're unsure whether you have the Core HR module, it's easy to check.

All Sage Payroll UK customers get access to a basic version of Sage HR called Sage HR Essentials. This is a version of Sage HR that includes some features of the Core HR module. You can find out more about the differences between Sage HR Essentials and Sage HR with the Core HR module in the guide below.

The Core HR comes automatically when you start a trial or subscription for Sage HR.

Once done, you can set up Core HR immediately.

If you're a Sage 50 People Package customer, you have the Core HR module included as part of your package which you can set up straight away. You can then subscribe to Leave Management and other Sage HR modules if or when you want to use them.
If you're not a People Package customer, you can add the Core HR module and trial using it before paying for the module.

When you use Sage HR integrated with Sage Payroll (UK) you can subscribe to Sage HR modules like Core HR by upgrading your subscription tier.
