Change payment method for Sage HR

How to change how you pay your Sage HR subscription.

Your Billing settings are where you can choose how you pay for your Sage HR subscription.

  1. Click your name in the top right.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Billing.

You can pay your Sage HR subscription by card or by direct debit (SEPA).


Pay by card

  1. Select Card.

  2. Enter the following information:

    • First name and Last name

    • Address lines 1 and 2

    • City

    • Region/State

    • Postcode

    • Country

    • VAT number - This is mandatory if you select My organisation is VAT registered

  3. Click Subscribe.

You're now paying for your selected Sage HR modules with these card details.


Pay by Direct Debit (SEPA)

Direct debit is not available for UK Sage HR customers.

  1. Select Direct Debit (SEPA).

  2. Enter Account holder name.

  3. Enter the IBAN number.

  4. Enter Billing details:

    📌TIP: Ensure all details are accurate to avoid validation errors.​

    • First name and Last name

    • Address line 1 and 2

    • City

    • Region/State

    • Postcode

    • Country

    • VAT number - This is mandatory if you select My organisation is VAT register

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Review and confirm details, then click Confirm and set up Direct Debit.

  7. Read the mandate information from GoCardless.

  8. Authorise the Direct Debit setup.

A successful subscription setup will be confirmed with a confirmation email from GoCardless . If an error occurs, correct it and try again or get an admin user to contact Sage HR customer support.
