'Missing payroll information' - Sage HR Essentials

How to resolve this message on an employee's profile in Sage HR integrated with Sage Business Cloud Payroll.

📎NOTE: This guide is for users who use Sage HR Essentials. If you use Sage HR Online Services, which integrates with Sage 50 Payroll, use our alternative guide.

When you see an employee listed with 'Missing payroll information' under their name, this means there are required details that haven't been completed in Sage Payroll yet.

Click on their profile, then click Go to Payroll to complete set up. You're taken to Sage Payroll and you see the fields that need to be completed. This message disappears once that is done.
