When you want to create a profile for someone in your Sage HR company, there are a few different ways you can do this.

Add the employee manually

This is the easiest way to add an individual to Sage HR. Use our guides below based on what payroll integration you have with Sage HR.

Add employees using an import template

This is the easiest way to add multiple employees in one go. You download and complete an import template, then import it into Sage HR.

Upload payslips - Sage 50 Payroll integration only (UK)

If you use Sage HR Online Services, which is Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll, you can also create employee profiles by uploading the employee's payslips.

When you add them this way, their Sage 50 Payroll and Sage HR profile become automatically linked.
