If you can't receive your Sage HR verification code, the steps depend on your 2-factor authentication (2FA) method. Check the verification screen first. It tells you where Sage HR sends your code.

📎NOTE: Some solutions will depend on whether you use a Customer Sage account or an Employee Sage account to log into your Sage HR Company. If you don't know which one you're using, see Am I using a 'Customer' or 'Employee' Sage account?.

Authenticator apps don't send messages with a 6-digit code. Open your app and enter the current Sage verification code.
📎NOTE: Your authenticator app may show codes for several services depending on what you use 2FA for. Make sure you use the Sage code.
If the code doesn't work, sign in using your recovery key.
If you don’t have your recovery key:
Customer Sage account: Use a backup method to generate a new recovery key
Employee Sage account: Ask your Sage HR administrator to reset your 2FA

Wait up to 10 minutes for the code to arrive.
Check your mobile signal.
Select Resend code.
Wait another 10 minutes.
If you don’t have your recovery key:
Customer Sage account: Use a backup method to generate a new recovery key
Employee Sage account: Ask your Sage HR administrator to reset your 2FA
📌TIP: Use Sage Verify or an authenticator app where possible. These methods help avoid network delays, code limits, and blocked phone numbers.

Sage sends email verification codes when you use an Employee Sage account and haven't set up 2FA yet.
Select Resend code.
Wait up to 10 minutes.
Check your junk or spam folder.
Allow emails from [email protected].
If you still don't receive the email, contact your employer. They can investigate the issue with Sage Support.
