If you want to show an employee's race and ethnicity on their profile, you must assign them to one via their profile.

📎NOTE for US customers: The same steps also apply to Sex and Gender identity fields. The Gender identity field is hidden until you add gender identity options within Diversity information settings.

  1. Go to the employee's profile.

  2. Click on the Personal tab of their profile menu.

  3. Scroll down to the relevant diversity information, for example, Race and Ethnicity.

  4. Click on the drop-down, then select the relevant option.

  5. Scroll down and click Save.

📌TIP: To make this available for employees to view in their profile, assign the View employee sensitive information permission to the Employee role, and set it to Myself.

'View employee sensitive information' permission set to 'Myself'

To allow employees to edit this themselves assign the Edit employee sensitive information permission to the Employee role, and set it to Myself.

'Edit employee sensitive information' permission set to 'Myself'

For more information on how to add or edit permissions of a role, use our guide, Configure permissions of your roles.
