Assign diversity information to an employee from their profile

Assign diversity information in Sage HR to an employee profile, including race, gender, and other supported fields.

You can assign diversity information to an employee in Sage HR from their profile.

Available fields depend on your region and settings, such as race, gender, or citizenship.


Assign diversity information

  1. Open the employee’s profile.

  2. Select the Personal tab.

  3. Scroll to the relevant diversity section, for example, Race and ethnicity.

  4. Select a value from the dropdown list.

  5. Scroll down and select Save.


Available fields

Sage HR shows different fields based on your company’s registered country. Some fields appear only in specific regions, such as South Africa.

  • Race and ethnicity or Race

  • Gender

  • Sex

  • Citizenship status

  • Disability status

📎NOTE: Some fields appear only when you enable them in Diversity information settings.


Control employee access

To let employees view or edit their own diversity information, update permissions:

  • Set View employee sensitive information to Myself

  • Set Edit employee sensitive information to Myself
