If you have been added to a performance group, if required you can add personal goals for yourself to keep track of your progress on things you are looking to achieve as part of your role.

Its easy to create a goal for yourself via Goals in the main menu. We'll show you how.

📎NOTE: Depending on how the Goals module was set up, Goals may be referred to as an OKR in your Sage HR, so any reference to the term 'goal' you can substitute with OKR.

  1. Click Goals on the main menu.

  2. Select the Personal goals tab at the top, then click Add goal.

📌TIP: You can also click Add goal from other goals tabs too.

A Create a new goal window appears. This window is the same no matter which tab you added a goal from.

Step 1 - Choose your goal

Click the Personal goals tile.

📎NOTE: The other tiles that show depend on your role in Sage HR - Read more >

  3. If required, you can link this personal goal to another existing team goal or company goal.

  4. Select a Review date, for example Q2 - 2022.

  5. If you want to, you can choose to repeat the goal. When you click on the slider more options appear, where you can select a frequency, and how many times it repeats.

  6. Select your goal visibility, which controls who can see this goal.

    You can either:

    • Make it public so can be seen by everyone in the company.

    • Make it private so can only be seen to you and your manager

If you select Private, you can click Add viewers to allow specific people to be able to view this goal.

7. When you're finished click Continue to progress to your Metrics and Sharing options

📌TIP: You can click Save as draft and come back to add key results and initiatives later. Once done you would click Send for approval.
