If you change your mind, you can return the slot you've taken from any open shift and make it available to your colleagues.

If your plans change and you’re no longer going to cover the slot you have picked up from an open shift, you can release it and make it available for other employees to pick it up.

To release a shift, follow these steps:

  1. On the main menu click Schedule.

  2. Click on the shift you want to release.

  3. Click Release shift.

  4. Click Confirm.

The slot you took is now returned to the open shift and other employees can cover it by picking it up.

📎NOTE: By releasing the slot, the number of available shifts to be picked up from the open shift increases to account for the slot you just returned.

If the open shift previously had all its available slots taken, then it disappears from the open shift row of other employees in your group. By releasing the slot, the shift is made available again for other employees to grab the slot you just returned.
