Link an employee profile to payroll - Sage 50 Payroll UK integration

How to link an employee's profile in Sage HR to their profile in Sage 50 Payroll (UK only).

If you have an employee whom you've manually added in Sage HR, you may see this message below in their profile.

We can't find [Employee name] in Sage 50cloud Payroll

Error message stating ' We can't find [Employee name] in Sage 50cloud Payroll'

To resolve this message and allow employees to be able to view their payslips, you must link their Sage HR Online Services profile with their profile in Sage 50 Payroll.

The profiles automatically link when you first upload the employee's payslips from Sage 50 Payroll. The email address in both profiles must be identical.

⚠️CAUTION: Before you do this, you must make sure the email address in both Sage HR and Sage 50 Payroll is identical, including capitalisations. If they're not, when you upload their payslips a this will create a duplicate profile in Sage HR.

You must also make sure that within the employee record in Sage 50 Payroll, you've enabled Online Services.
