If an employee has downloaded the Sage HR app, you can enable a setting that allows their timesheet group to be able to clock in and out using the app.
Click your name in the top right, then click Settings
On the settings menu click Timesheets, then click Timesheet groups
Choose a Timesheets group you would like to enable the clocking in for and click on the edit icon ✏️.
Select Allow employees under this group to clock in from a mobile device
📎NOTE: Make sure the API option isn't selected, otherwise mobile clocking won't work.
Click Save.
Once done, as long as an employee is in that timesheet group a clock in widget should appear on the dashboard of your employee's mobile device.
Want to use 'Geofencing' for mobile clock-ins?
You can enable geofencing for clocking in and out on the mobile app. This means you could either prevent employees from clocking in when not in your work zone, or be notified if they clock in when outside of your work zone. You would need to create a work zone, and assign an employee to it.
