You can edit or add employee information in Sage HR from within their employee profile.
📎NOTE: If there are details you can't amend this can be because of permissions or integration with Sage payroll software.
Edit employee details
To get to an employee's profile:
Either search for the employee, or browse to them via Company on the main menu.
Click on the relevant tab on the profile menu, such as Employee or Personal etc.
Add any additional information or edit current details as required.
Once finished, scroll down to the bottom and click Save.
📌TIP: You can also update employee information using an import template.

Sage 50 Payroll (UK) integration
If you have Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll, you can't amend an employee's name, email address, and start date from within Sage HR. This must be done in Sage 50 Payroll.
📎NOTE: There are several employee details that update automatically in Sage HR when you amend them in Sage 50 Payroll and then upload payslips.
📌TIP: Changes you make in Sage you can import into Sage 50 Payroll.

If you have Sage HR integrated with Sage Payroll (Sage Business Cloud Payroll), when you edit details in Sage HR, this automatically syncs with their record in Sage HR.
