📎NOTE: If you want to set up Sage HR integrated with Sage 50 Payroll (UK only) you must complete the sign up process to Sage HR from within Sage 50 Payroll.

  1. Go to sage.hr

  2. Click TRY IT FREE.

  3. Select the modules you want to try.

  4. Complete your name, company, phone number and email.

📌TIP: The person who signs up for a trial and creates a Sage HR account, by default has administrator access. This person should be someone who is in a position to set up your company and employee details, as well as manage Sage HR.

  5. Enter a password.

  6. Select the I'm not a robot check box.

  7. Click GET STARTED.

Sage HR automatically opens and an interactive tour pops up to show you around. You can click Next through these, or click X to close.

📎NOTE: You can send as many emails as you want when using a trial account, but bear in mind there are limitations to the number of email addresses you can use as recipient per day. You know you reached the limit if you see this message:

Demo company - Cupcake

To help you familiarise yourself with the features, there is a demo company named Cupcake with demo employees already set up.

This gives you the opportunity to explore the screens and try out some of the features, without affecting any live data.

⚠️CAUTION: Don't start to add any real company data into your demo company. When you click Start Fresh, this will wipe out the demo data.

Start Fresh

When you're ready to set up your company and employee details, you can wipe out the demo data and start adding your own data.

Click Start fresh. A message appears, click Start fresh again.

For help to set up your company and employee data, use our Set up Sage HR guide.
