A welcome email lets an employee know you’ve added them to Sage HR. They also use it to create a Sage account if they don’t already have one.
📎NOTE: An employee can already have a Sage account if they used the same email at another company that used Sage.
If you didn’t send a welcome email when you created the employee profile, you can resend it. You can also resend it if the original email has expired.

Next steps
When an employee receives the welcome email, they use it to create a Sage account if they don’t already have one. They can’t log in until they do this. If they already have a Sage account, they can log in with their existing details or reset their password if needed.
📎NOTE: If you use G Suite or another single sign on integration with Sage HR, you won’t need to enter a password when you sign in.
