When you try to authenticate via text or call for 2FA, you may get the following error.
You can only receive 5 verification codes in a one-hour period. Check the phone number is correct and try to get a new code later.
This occurs because you've tried to request too many codes within one hour.
When this happens, you have the following options:
Wait and log in after one hour
Use your recovery key
If you've lost your recovery key, use your backup method to generate a new recovery key to use.
📌TIP: You can reset 2FA and set up to use an authenticator app for 2FA instead of text or call. We recommend this as you won't be reliant on phone networks or won't have limits to codes within an hour.
