When you submit a time off request for a date before today, you may see the following error.
There was an error
You can only request time off in the future
This occurs because someone has not assigned the user submitting the request to a role that has permission to request time off in the past.
To resolve this, someone else with these permissions will need to submit it.
Alternatively, an admin will need to add the user to a role that has the Add time off permission, and set it to For any date, including past dates.
📎NOTE: You can also add the permission to a role the user is already assigned to. Be aware that this will also give this permission to everyone else assigned to that role.
