Error: 'This status cannot be applied'

How to resolve this error when submitting a time off request in Sage HR.

When approving or declining time off requests you get the following an error:

This status cannot be applied.

This is due to clicking the approve or decline button more than once before the process has completed.

  1. Click away from the message to clear.

  2. Wait a few seconds to allow the screen to update.
