When you create a new recipe, or edit an existing recipe, when save it you see the following error:

You must enter 1 valid email address.

This occurs if you have set up a recipe to send an email to a specific email address, and entered more than one email address. You can only set a recipe to send an email to one email address.

Screenshot of the create new recipe screen in Sage HR. It shows an example of a recipe that will trigger an action of sending an email. It shows a list of options of who the email will be sent to, such as an email address, specific employee, direct manager, and team manager.

Remove the additional email addresses. You can then save the recipe and activate it.

If you need a recipe to email multiple people, if they exist as employees, you can select them rather than enter an email address. For example, add a specific employee.

If you need to add an external email address that doesn't exist under a user's Sage HR profile, you can duplicate the existing recipe. You can then amend the email address in the duplicated recipe.
