ERROR: 'Your sign in information is managed by Sage Cloud ID. Please sign in via your organisation Sage ID domain.'

Fix the password reset error in Sage HR when you use the wrong reset option. Sage HR users with a Sage account must reset their password from the Sage account sign-in screen.

You may see this error when you reset your password from the wrong Sage HR sign-in page:

Your sign in information is managed by Sage Cloud ID. Please sign in via your organisation Sage ID domain.

Error message on forgot password page that says 'Your sign in information is managed by Sage Cloud ID. Please sign in via your organisation Sage ID domain. '

This message is telling you that you use a Sage account login, so you need to log in or reset your password from the Sage account login screen.

You'll have got to this current screen because you clicked Forgot your password? on the general Sage HR sign-in page on the wbe portal or the forgot password on the mobile app. These options only work for users who don’t sign in with a Sage account. Most users now sign in with a Sage account. Some customers use Single Sign-On (SSO).

  1. Don’t reset your password from the general Sage HR sign-in page, as shown in the screenshot below.

Forgot your password option on general Sage sign in page. Sign in page shows an empty email field and empty password field.

  2. Open your company Sage HR sign-in page instead, for example yourcompany.sage.hr/signin.

  3. If you start from sage.hr/signin, enter your email address first.

  4. Go to the Sage account sign-in screen.

  5. Reset your password from that screen.

Forgot password option on Sage account login screen.
