The home address on an employee's payslip or P60 is determined by what is recorded in Sage 50 Payroll when the pay run is processed.

To ensure it's correct going forward, amend their address in Sage 50 Payroll. That address will show on future payslips and P60s.

Can I change the address on historic payslips and P60s?

This is possible, but this may involve reprocessing for that employee depending on how you wish to resolve this.

Reprocess

You can rollback for that employee, amend their address, then re-process payroll for that employee.

This permanently updates the employee's address for all required periods. You can then upload historical payslips or P60 with the correct address.

📌TIP: For more information about the rollback function, use our Sage 50 Payroll guide, 'Correct a mistake in your payroll'.

Temporary amendment

This option means you can change the address in the pay period and upload the payslip, without reprocessing.

This means the correct address is uploaded, however, when you restore back to your you present-day data, these changes within Sage 50 Payroll are lost.

  1. Take a backup of your current data,

  2. Rollback the relevant employee.

  3. Update the address in the employee record.

  4. Check the process date is set to the payslip you want to upload.

  5. Check payments are entered correctly for that period.

  6. Upload the payslip or P60.

  7. Restore backup of the present-day data that you took in the first step.
