We're now approaching Christmas and the end of 2022. Tips and advice we cover in this newsletter include a reminder on how to prepare for your holiday year-end, how to communicate to your staff about your festive period opening hours holiday, as well as some news regarding documents on the Sage HR app.
Prepare for holiday year-end
With the end of the year fast approaching, there are some tasks we recommend you complete before the end of 2022, such as checking whether employees have any unused annual leave and preparing your 2023 calendar.
📌TIP: When you run your time off status report, you can only run this for either the current or previous year. We recommend you download the report to Excel in case you ever need access to this data in more than two years' time e.g. view time off status report for 2020 when in 2022.
Create an announcement about your Christmas opening times
You can use Announcements as a useful tool for company internal communications. This could be used to update your staff about your opening hours during the Christmas period or clarify whether employees can work from home during it etc.

Documents on the Sage HR app
Uploaded documents can now be viewed on the Sage HR mobile app. So your employees can browse through their documents, view them, and even download them.
