The Documents feature in Sage HR is for sharing documents that can be viewed and shared by other employees. However there may be documents regarding an employee that you want to upload to their profile, but them not be able to see. For example, a disciplinary review document.
It is possible to do this by using the Notes function in an employee's profile.
When you add a note you can add attachment that can be downloaded i.e. a document.
📎NOTE: By default team managers and direct managers can see notes, unless you deselect Visible to managers.
