If you subscribe to Sage HR's Core HR module, you can use announcements to create a post to inform employees when their payslips are ready. When you create and publish an announcement post you can select to send a notification email to employees about the announcement.
📌TIP: You can check if you have the Core HR module as an admin via Settings > Billing.
