We've created this guide, so you have everything you need to set up and start using Sage HR Online Services.
Before you start using Online Services to upload your employee payslips, we recommend you complete the following tasks:
Check you have your Sage ID login details: If you don't have one, you can create one when you set up Online Services.If you've logged in to the My Sage website before, use these details to sign in.
Check the email address on your employee records in Sage 50cloud Payroll: You can use the Employee Details - Personal report.
Set up Online Services
Complete six set up tasks in your Sage 50cloud Payroll software:
Importing employee details
When you upload payslips or historical payslips to your Online Services, this automatically imports your employees details.
This includes the:
Employee's first name
Employee's last name
Employee's work email address
Employment start date
To ensure these details match with Sage 50cloud Payroll, these fields are locked once imported and can't be changed within Sage HR. Any changes to these four fields must be made in Sage 50cloud Payroll which updates your employee details in Sage HR Online Services each time you publish payslips.

To save time setting up the additional employee details in Sage HR that aren't pushed through automatically when a payslip is uploaded (e.g. address), you can export these additional details by running a report from Sage 50cloud Payroll and then import it into Sage HR.
Once you enter your employees' payments and process your payroll as normal, you can upload your employee payslips each time you pay them.
Customise Sage HR to your company
Add your company logo and change Sage HR colours to fit your brand.
Resend a welcome email
When you upload payslips or historical payslips for the first time, your employee is sent a welcome email inviting them to start using Sage HR Online Services to view their payslips.
The welcome email expires after 24 hours and so it may be necessary to resend a welcome email to an employee, if they don't set up access to Online Services within that time.
