Change language in Sage HR

Set up the language used in Sage HR for yourself or for another employee.

Sage HR supports multiple languages, and each employee can choose the language they want to use in their Sage HR account.

Change the language as an employee

  1. Click your name on the top right.

  2. Click My profile, then on the profile menu, click Employee

  3. Scroll down, then click Personal settings.

  4. Under Language, click the dropdown arrow next to the current language.​

  5. Scroll down the list of available languages, or alternatively type and search for your preferred language.

  6. Select the language, then click Save.

To change the language back, follow the same steps above.

Change the language as an administrator

As an administrator, you can oversee and manage which languages you've assigned to your employees.

  1. Logged in as an administrator, click your name on the top right.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. On the settings menu click Employee data, then click Languages.

  4. To assign a language to your employees, click Eligibility next to a language.​

  5. Choose the employees you want to assign to that language. You can search for a specific employee or use the filters to narrow results by team, position, or location.

  6. Click Save.

📌TIP: The number in green in the Employees column shows how many employees use that language. Click the number to see the list of assigned employees.
