View an employee's working pattern

Check which working pattern an employee uses in Sage HR. You can also review working hours, break times, and assigned employees.

View a working pattern to check scheduled working days, hours, break times, and employees assigned to it.


View a working pattern

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Employee data.

  3. Select Employment statuses and Working patterns.

  4. Scroll to Working patterns.

  5. Select the working pattern name.


Review working pattern details

When you open a working pattern, you can view:

  • Working days in the pattern

  • Start and end times for each working day

  • Break times for each working day

  • Total hours for each day

  • Non-working days within the pattern

Check assigned employees

  1. Locate the Employees column.

  2. Select the employee number shown for the working pattern.

  3. Review the employees assigned to that pattern.

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Employee data.

  3. Select Employment statuses and Working patterns.

  4. Scroll to Working patterns.

  5. Click the working pattern name to view the working pattern.

    Click the number under Employees to check which employees you've assigned to this pattern.


    It will show you the Day, working time, break time and total hours for that day. It will state if employees on this pattern aren't working on a particular day.
