Edit a team

How to make changes to existing teams in Sage HR.

After someone creates a team, you can make changes to it.

  1. On the main menu, click Company, then click Teams.

  2. Click the pencil icon on the relevant team.

  3. You can then make the following changes.

    • Rename the team

    • Change or add a team manager

    • Delete a team manager

    • Country

    • Time zone

    • Time format

    • First day of the week for calendars - Monday or Sunday

  4. After you make your changes, click Save.

📌TIP: You can also edit teams in your settings.

  1. Click your name in the top right, then click Settings.

  2. Click the pencil icon on the relevant team.

Add team managers

You can add team managers following the steps above. There are also other ways to add a team manager.

Manage employees

Within the Teams tab of the Company page, you can drag and drop employees between teams to move them.

Alternatively, you can add or remove employees from teams via your Teams settings.
